- 2 ½ pints chicken stock
- 3 oz fine egg noodles
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- freshly-ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopper parsley
how to make homemade chicken noodle soup
- Put the chicken stock into a large saucepan.Bring to the boil and add the egg noodles. boil for 4 minutes till all dente
- Add the lemon juice,salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with chopped parsley.serve chicken soup with a side dish of grated Gruyere,cheddar or Parmesan cheese
