Chili Soy Dip

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon  ginger, cut into  thin strip
  • 1 teaspoon rice wine
  • 60 ml ( ¼ cup ) light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon  sugar
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 small red chili, thinly sliced
  • 1 spring onion, thinly sliced

  1. make the chili soy dip, heat the oil in a saucepan and saute the ginger until fragrant, then sizzle the rice wine. A Pour in the light and dark sauces sugar, pepper and sesame oil, when the sauce  stars to bubble, add the chili and spring onions , Transfer to a small bowl and serve as dip for the prawns .
  2. Place prawns in a steamer and sit the streamer in a wok half filled with boiling water , cover tightly and steam over high heat until prawns are Cooked, 4-5 minutes, Transfer a serving platter , garnish with coriander leaves and serve with the chili soy dip.
